ASSOCIATION of HISPANIC ARTS:
Founded in 1975, the Association of Hispanic Arts, Inc. (AHA) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of Latino arts, artists and arts organizations as an integral part of the cultural life of the nation. We facilitate projects and programs designed to foster the appreciation, growth and well being of the Latino cultural community. Here, artists enjoy a multitude of career-building resources, like AHA's workshops, grant opportunities and symposiums.


BOWERY Poetry Club:
Where Poetry and Art Meet Entertainment, Technology and Commerce. Through the front door, a small coffee shop serving great coffee and Yonah Shimmel Knish Noshes. Clothespinned to the clothesline above the cash register are homemade chapbooks and under the counter are spoken word CDs... Poetry Served Here. Behind the curtain, a performance space that seats over 100, a state-of-the-art sound system with digital recording and cybercast facilities and a full bar. Next door, our sister space, the Digital Video Dojo, world's first walk-in digital editing facility and school (coffee and nosheri proudly served by the Bowery Poetry Club). The Club will sponsor poetry events every night, workshops and readings in the afternoons.


BRONX COUNCIL on the ARTS:
BCA celebrates 40 years of stimulating community interest in the arts through programming and technical assistance. Their mission is to encourage and increase the public's awareness and participation in the arts and to nurture the development of artists and arts and cultural organizations in the Bronx. BCA has become a leader in the fields of Grantmaking, Programming, Arts Education and the use of cultural strategies to help revitalize local communities.


louderARTS Project:
louderARTS is a not-for-profit arts collective committed to developing challenging spaces for artists to create, critique, present and teach poetry.


NATIONAL ENDOWMENT for the ARTS:
The National Endowment for the Arts is a public agency dedicated to supporting excellence in the arts--both new and established--bringing the arts to all Americans, and providing leadership in arts education. Established by Congress in 1965 as an independent agency of the federal government, the Endowment is the nation's largest annual funder of the arts, bringing great art to all 50 states, including rural areas, inner cities, and military bases.


NEW YORK STATE ALLIANCE for ARTS EDUCATION:
The NYS Alliance for Arts Education is a statewide non-profit service organization, dedicated to ensuring that the arts become an integral part of every young person's education in New York State. The Alliance creates networks and partnership opportunities for educators and arts professionals, sponsors professional development workshops and conferences, and presents arts education programming across the state.


NEW YORK STATE COUNCIL on the ARTS:
NYSCA is a state funding agency that provides support for activities of nonprofit arts and cultural organizations in New York State and helps to bring artistic programs of high quality to the citizens of the state.
