VISUALS: Paintings in all media

All the pieces displayed have been exhibited at one time or another.With the exceptions of NO ONE IS IMMUNE and WHERE IS JUPITER...WHY? all the pieces are for sale. Most of the paintings are mixed media on canvas. Two of my largest paintings, CONTEMPLATION and EPITHYMIA are acrylic on canvas. I have new pieces in the works that I'll be displaying soon, so keep a close watch.

These are some of the images that I've drawn throughout the years. I've been drawing since I was 5 years old and had only one wish at the time...to draw the human face and figure in a way that isn't emotionless. I am still struggling to attain my complete satisfaction.

LOGO Motion: Logo, graphic and trademark design are amongst my favorites in the arts.

This medium allows me not only to create original art but also to expand my knowledge of visual stimuli and history. I was fortunate enough to work at a trademark research company that helped me get a better grasp on the laws that encompass this very "on the edge" field.

WALL Street: Ahhh... My almost NEW thing... MURALS!!!

I say almost because I was a graffiti artist in San Diego County starting back in 1983. Yes, I admit that I was a known graffiti artist but I am in no way ashamed of what I did. I (aka SCAN) and my group the Multi-Talented Artists turned a gang-targeted area for wreckless vandalism into a canvas of opportunity. And, believe me... we got RESPECT. So, here I am now creating and painting murals through a non-profit organization--New York Cares--for schools, shelters and residencies for the city of New York. And, yes, I may be doing these for free, but these walls are no less exciting.
